Focus on mastery to know the most about remodeling and perfect the craft. Demonstrate and continue to develop leadership skills that include leading and teaching less experienced carpenters. Represent the company professionally in the eyes of the customer, vendors, and the community. Perform assigned tasks safely, competently, and in a timely fashion. Properly care for equipment and supplies and pay attention to detail for high-quality results. Must be proficient at all Journeyman Carpenter skills.

Possesses an advanced carpentry skill set and is recognized for their ability to take initiative on the work site.  Able to foresee what comes next on a project and work efficiently and productively throughout the day, confidently and successfully building walls, installing windows and doors, and installing siding.  An asset to the Master Carpenter, when asked to do tasks, does so confidently.  Demonstrates a commitment to the trade through an investment in their tools.  Proficient at all Carpenter skills.

Possesses work site experience and basic knowledge of construction, i.e., level, plumb & square, with a higher understanding and expectation of quality workmanship.  Demonstrates “work site etiquette” and professional conduct on the project and in front of customers and vendors.  Ready to begin learning the specifics of the craft, invest in their hand tools, and demonstrate an increase in abilities.

Build relationships and work effectively with the team, non-select vendors, and trade partners to produce accurate and complete project estimates on schedule.  Tasks include, but are not limited to, gathering trade partner and non-select vendor project estimates, performing take-offs to estimate hours for internal staff, working on multiple projects at a time, and communicating estimate updates to the team.
